Job Description

This position offers a great Monday-Friday schedule!

This position contributes to the company mission by safely conducting ultrasound studies in various settings per physician orders.This position assists the physician by performing Echo portions of Stress Echo’s, M-Mode, 2D, Color and Doppler Studies, Carotids, Bubble studies, and other vascular ultrasound studies as requested.  



  • Rooming patients in timely manner
  • Perform testing per IAC Guidelines and in appropriate time frame as per office protocol
  • Ensure patient understands test and procedure
  • Ensure completed testing goes to appropriate personnel
  • Maintain accurate log of testing performed
  • Performs accurate measurement of appropriate organ systems as per protocol
  • Maintains accuracy in data entry 95% accuracy threshold is required
  • Maintains accuracy in selection of statements 95% accuracy threshold is required
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and cleans as needed
  • Process staff and patient incoming calls, faxes and inquires
  • Attend quarterly staff meetings
  • Complies with all OSHA and HIPAA policies along with all company policies and procedures
  • Demonstrates behavior that is professional and commensurate with the position and is in accordance to TCC Standards of Behavior
  • Maintains a professional and courteous environment
  • Maintains strict patient and employee confidentiality

Skills / Requirements


  • Current BLS certification
  • Successful completion of job related competencies on an annual basis
  • Successful completion of any other training as determined by TCC to be necessary for the position
  • Must be able to type at least 40 wpm


  • High School diploma or GED
  • Appropriate registry credential RDCS or RCS
  • RVS or RVT registries preferred
  • Some Knowledge of arrhythmias
  • Experience in cardiac and vascular pathology

Important Notes

Travel between our clinic offices will be required at times. All shifts would be scheduled between Monday-Friday only. No nights, no weekends! Mileage reimbursement is provided.
